From 1960 to today Internationals in nursing

Have you come to Germany to work in the care sector? Perhaps you have been here for many years or have only recently arrived? And you would like to exchange ideas with other people who have had similar experiences and want to network?

On February 21, 2025, the event “From 1960 to Today – Internationals in Nursing” will take place in Berlin. It is a networking and exchange event for internationally trained nurses and trainees from different generations and countries of origin.

Since the 1960s, nurses from all over the world have come to Germany to work here. In the process, they have gathered a wide range of experiences and written unique life stories. What do you have in common? What have you experienced? What challenges and successes have shaped your careers and lives?

Look forward to an exciting program with panel discussions, practical workshops, karaoke and much more. Take the opportunity to make new contacts, exchange ideas and expand your network.

Participation is free of charge! We look forward to seeing you there.

The day’s program includes:

Panel discussions – workshops – films – exhibition – cooking together – karaoke and photo box!

The event is organized by the DKF (KDA), HERO e.V., PNAGermany e.V., GePGeMi e.V., Masala Movement e.V., BARMER and DBfK Nordost and sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Health.
